Barry Goldstein is a nationally recognized domestic violence expert, speaker, writer and consultant. He is co-editor with Mo Therese Hannah of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ABUSE and CHILD CUSTODY and author of SCARED TO LEAVE AFRAID TO STAY.

He is an instructor and supervisor in a NY Model Batterer Program. He received the Believer Award from BMCC and Brother Peace Award from the National Organization for Men Against Sexism (NOMAS) for courage in continuing to speak up for the rights of battered women despite retaliatory threats to silence him.
