MYLAN L. DENERSTEIN, ESQ.

 

 

Mylan L. Denerstein  was appointed New York State Executive Deputy Attorney General for Social Justice in January 2007.

 

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Denerstein served as Deputy Fire Commissioner for Legal Affairs for the New York City Fire Department.

 

From 1996 to 2003, Ms. Denerstein was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York and served as Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division.

 

Ms. Denerstein also served as a Skadden Fellow at the Children's Defense Fund.  

 

Ms. Denerstein is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Columbia Law School.
